New "Jade" is not actually Jade, but actually a type of light green Serpentine. The stone earned this trade name for its similarities in appearance to Jade as well as similar metaphysical properties. Serpentine Gemstones have been used as a source of magnesium, asbestos and for personal adornment or sculpture throughout history. Various Serpentine minerals have even been used in architecture for thousands of years. New "Jade" and other Serpentine minerals are known for being easy to cut and for taking a good polish.
New "Jade" is available in many different hues, including sea green, olive and antiqued shades. Stones tend to have a waxy luster and can have speckles of cream- or black-colored inclusions.
New "Jade" Serpentine is said to have the same spiritual values as Green Jade. Because it produces a tranquil mood, it helps ease feelings of depression, especially when we feel stuck in a situation. Serpentine Gemstones are said to help with emotional cleansing in general and are believed an excellent stone to use in meditation. New "Jade" serpentine is associated with the heart chakra and the astrological sign of Gemini.
To clean New "Jade" gemstones, it is not recommended to use steaming, ultrasonic or boiling methods. These are too harsh of treatments for the hydrous stone. The best method of cleaning New "Jade" gems and jewelry is to rinse with a mild soap and water. Wipe with a soft, untreated cloth that is not impregnated with abrasive materials such as rouge. Dry gemstones and settings thoroughly before wearing or storing. Put on your New "Jade" jewelry after applying cosmetics and perfumes.
Since New "Jade" is a fairly soft stone, it's recommended to use this gemstone in necklace and earring designs rather than bracelets and rings to help avoid impact and abrasion. The range of green hues New "Jade" is available in makes this stone fun to design with. Use various colors of New "Jade" together for a monochromatic design with a tranquil vibe. Pair the light green stone with darker earth hues for a deep connection to nature in your jewelry. The pale hue is great for adding pops of brightness to darker colored designs as well. To create a complementary color scheme using the various new "Jade" colors, pair the stones with purple and blueish tints such as natural Amethyst or dyed Crazy Lace Agate and Magnesite.

We charge a "Flat Rate" of R130.00 for ALL "COURIER GUY" Door To Door parcels, irrelevant of value, weight or location, and R70.00 for ALL "PUDO" Locker To Locker parcels, irrelevant of value, weight or location.
We do not offer any collection services from our premises for any reason whatsoever as this poses a serious security risk to our stock, staff and premises.
While Beaded Creations endeavors at all times to adhere to delivery times and schedules please allow 2 to 3 "Business Days" for your order to be processed. Parcels will then be shipped out, and depending on your location, delivery will take anywhere between another 3 to 5 "Business Days" (Excluding weekends & public holidays). During promotions and special sale events delivery times and schedules may be varied due to the influx of customer orders. During such promotions and promotional events, processing and delivery of goods shall be 7 to 12 "Business Days" from date of confirmation of order but may be delivered before such time.
