Rutilated Quartz is a form of clear Quartz that is characterized by inclusions that are hairlike growths. These 'rutile' inclusions range from thin, sparse, and parallel, to thick, dense, and crisscrossed, and everything in-between. Each Rutilated Quartz Gemstone is unique with its pattern of Rutile inclusions. Rutiles are formed from a titanium dioxide mineral, and sometimes contains large quantities of iron oxide. When the iron oxide content is high, the Rutilated Quartz may have needles of gold and red in it, and when the content is lower, it may have a darker, even almost black.
Rutilated quartz is believed to protect the wearer from negative thoughts and emotions. It is said to be filled with energy that flashes through it and connects one with other fields of energy. Rutilated quartz is thought to provide a balancing of yin/yang energies and release negative patterns. It is used by some to treat disorders of the digestive tract and to detoxify the body. Rutilated quartz is aligned with the Zodiac signs Libra, Capricorn and Scorpio. It is associated with the 6th, Third Eye or Brow Chakra, but is also believed to be effective on the secondary chakras of the hands and feet, including the meridians.
Rutilated quartz is fairly hard so it can be cleaned with an ultrasonic cleaner. Avoid heat with most forms of colorful quartzes to prevent hue shift. Store rutilated quartz out of direct sunlight to preserve its color.

Your shipping costs will automatically be calculated at the check out process on your order.
We charge a "Flat Rate" of R120.00 for ALL Door To Door parcels, irrelevant of value, weight or location.
We do not offer any collection services from our premises for any reason whatsoever as this poses a serious security risk to our stock, staff and premises.
While Beaded Creations endeavours at all times to adhere to delivery times and schedules please allow 1 "Business Day" for your order to be processed, AFTER proof of payment has been received and funds reflect in our account.
To speed this process up, we strongly recommend making an "Immediate Payment" should you require your items urgently.
Parcels will ONLY then (NOT BEFORE) be shipped out, and then depending on your exact location, delivery will take place as follows: (This EXCLUDES weekends & public holidays).

Risk on delivery shall pass to the consumer upon handing the parcel over to our delivery company.
No deliveries shall be made to P.O Boxes or LOT No’s or outlying areas which are not accessible by delivery companies.
The onus remains with the consumer to ensure that an accessible physical address is provided.
