Jasper is an opaque chalcedony that comes in a wide variety of colors. The term "jasper" itself comes from the Greek work iaspi, meaning "spotted stone." Jasper is a gemstone that has been used all over the world. The ancient priests of Egypt carved jasper into beautiful jewelry while the Minoans used jasper for seals. Its one-of-a-kind patterns have made it widely popular since antiquity when it was also used for amulets against drought. While jasper is widely available today, the gemstone was once treasured as a valuable stone. Like all Jasper, the subtle designs and colors of this opaque chalcedony made it a highly popular ornamental material for vases, mantels, etc. Today it's an ideal gemstone for jewelry with a sophisticated, monochromatic look.

We do not offer any collection services from our premises for any reason whatsoever as this poses a serious security risk to our stock, staff and premises.
While Beaded Creations endeavours at all times to adhere to delivery times and schedules please allow 1 "Business Day" for your order to be processed, AFTER proof of payment has been received and funds reflect in our account.
To speed this process up, we strongly recommend making an "Immediate Payment" should you require your items urgently.
Parcels will ONLY then (NOT BEFORE) be shipped out, and then depending on your exact location, delivery will take place as follows: (This EXCLUDES weekends & public holidays).
