Turritella Agate is of the Chalcedony variety, which is a part of the Quartz family. It has a rich, earthy black or brown color, and it can be easily recognized by the fossilized snail and sea creature patterns in the stone. The name Agate come from the Achates River in Sicily where Agates were first discovered. Agates usually have specks of color, eye markings, bands, stripes, or fossilized inclusions.
Turritella agate, contains ancient sea life and are said to help protect against danger and allows travelers to feel a connection with loved ones back home.

Agates in general are a hardy stone, making it easy to clean Turritella Agate with warm soapy water and a brush. Thoroughly dry agate in jewelry to prevent any extra moisture from causing tarnish in connecting metal components. Store Agate jewelry away from other jewelry since the hardness of the stone could end up causing scratches on softer gem materials.

We charge a "Flat Rate" of R130.00 for ALL "COURIER GUY" Door To Door parcels, irrelevant of value, weight or location, and R70.00 for ALL "PUDO" Locker To Locker parcels, irrelevant of value, weight or location.
We do not offer any collection services from our premises for any reason whatsoever as this poses a serious security risk to our stock, staff and premises.
While Beaded Creations endeavors at all times to adhere to delivery times and schedules please allow 2 to 3 "Business Days" for your order to be processed. Parcels will then be shipped out, and depending on your location, delivery will take anywhere between another 3 to 5 "Business Days" (Excluding weekends & public holidays). During promotions and special sale events delivery times and schedules may be varied due to the influx of customer orders. During such promotions and promotional events, processing and delivery of goods shall be 7 to 12 "Business Days" from date of confirmation of order but may be delivered before such time.
