HOW TO USE CRIMP BEAD COVERS

WHAT ARE CRIMP BEAD COVERS?

They are usually small metal beads made primarily of brass, iron or stainless steel.

STEP 1

Collect all materials needed for your project which will include Crimp Beads, Crimping Pliers, and Crimp Bead Covers.

STEP 2

Use the crimping pliers to attach the crimp bead to the jewelry wire.

STEP 3

Clip the crimp bead cover between the first notches of the crimping pliers, making sure the opening of the crimp bead cover is facing outwards.

STEP 4

Slide the crimp cover over the crimp bead.

STEP 5

The crimp bead should fit and be located in the center of the crimp bead cover.

STEP 6

Gently crimp the crimp bead cover with your crimping pliers to form a round shape and close the joints of the crimp bead cover.

Completed.

WHAT SIZE CRIMP BEAD COVER DO I NEED?

Crimp Bead Covers come in many different sizes.

You can determine the right size of crimp bead cover according to the helpful information found in our descriptions of the product on our website.

The size of the Crimp Bead Cover should be large enough to wrap around the Crimp Bead.

As per the example provided below, if you are using a 3mm Crimp Bead, you will need a 4mm Crimp Bead Cover.
