Ablaze with design possibility, these 8mm, Round, Frosted, Crackle, Agate, Beads blends umber tones with light yellow and warm orange. White areas are man-made using a permanent surface additive that enhances the contrast and crackle-like beauty.
Agate gets its name from the Achates River in present Sicily. It was where the stone was discovered by a Greek naturalist sometime between 400 and 300 B.C. In its natural form, agate, especially South American Agate, is often grey. Like many other variations of agate, the color in orange agate is most often achieved through dyeing.
Agate is the birthstone for the zodiac sign of Gemini, but is not a traditional birthstone for a birth month. Red is associated with comfort, creativity and joy. Its importance for healing has been recognized since the Golden Age of Greece. It was revered in ancient Indian and Chinese civilizations.
Like other agates, orange agate can be cleaned with warm soapy water and a soft brush. Avoid exposure to household chemicals and extreme heat. Because of the hardness and durability of agate, it should be kept away from other gemstone and jewelry to prevent scratching softer materials.
Cosmetics and perspiration can negatively affect the surface polish of agate gemstones. Be sure to put agate jewelry on after applying make-up and perfumes, as well as removing it before swimming or engaging in sports.
Store agate jewelry in a separate pouch or box to prevent it from damaging other stones. Do not store in direct sunlight or in a warm location.>

We charge a "Flat Rate" of R130.00 for ALL "COURIER GUY" Door To Door parcels, irrelevant of value, weight or location, and R70.00 for ALL "PUDO" Locker To Locker parcels, irrelevant of value, weight or location.
We do not offer any collection services from our premises for any reason whatsoever as this poses a serious security risk to our stock, staff and premises.
While Beaded Creations endeavors at all times to adhere to delivery times and schedules please allow 2 to 3 "Business Days" for your order to be processed. Parcels will then be shipped out, and depending on your location, delivery will take anywhere between another 3 to 5 "Business Days" (Excluding weekends & public holidays). During promotions and special sale events delivery times and schedules may be varied due to the influx of customer orders. During such promotions and promotional events, processing and delivery of goods shall be 7 to 12 "Business Days" from date of confirmation of order but may be delivered before such time.
