Aquamarine, a splendid blue gemstone whose name originates from the Italian word for seawater, embodies the splendor of the sea.
A member of the beryl family, Aquamarine is a sister to the rich Green Emerald. It can be found in a range of pale blue hues and aqua green colors. Legends refer to Aquamarine as the treasure of Atlantis.
Traditionally, Aquamarine is also the birthstone for March.
The wonderful range of blues found in Aquamarine complement just about any skin tone, and when worn as earrings and necklaces can show off the color of your eyes to advantage.
In the language of gemstones, Aquamarine represents happiness, hope and everlasting youth. In ancient times, Aquamarine was thought to protect those at sea. On land, it is believed to have soothing effects on couples, helping them to work through their differences and ensure a long and happy marriage. That power makes it an excellent stone to give on anniversaries.
It is also considered to be the stone of courage and preparedness and is believed to help maintain balance and order. Aquamarine is often used as a "good luck" stone, thought to bring feelings of peace, love, joy and happiness to those who wear it. There is an energizing quality to Aquamarine that provides harmony and balance. If you dream of Aquamarine, it is said that you will make new friends, and wearing earrings of Aquamarine are thought to bring love and affection into your life.
Although Aquamarine is a hard 7-1/2 to 8 on the Moh's scale, natural inclusions could make it vulnerable to breaking if exposed to extreme temperature changes or sharp blows. Do not use heat to clean Aquamarine. Prolonged exposure to sunlight could fade color.

We offer delivery to ALL SOUTH AFRICAN consumers in ANY area for orders to ANY value. Your shipping costs will automatically be calculated at the check out process on your order.
Beaded Creations delivers countrywide in South Africa. Our preferred courier services are "THE COURIER GUY" and "PUDO
We charge a "Flat Rate" of R130.00 for ALL "COURIER GUY" Door To Door parcels, irrelevant of value, weight or location, and R70.00 for ALL "PUDO" Locker To Locker parcels, irrelevant of value, weight or location.
We do not offer any collection services from our premises for any reason whatsoever as this poses a serious security risk to our stock, staff and premises.
While Beaded Creations endeavors at all times to adhere to delivery times and schedules please allow 2 to 3 "Business Days" for your order to be processed. Parcels will then be shipped out, and depending on your location, delivery will take anywhere between another 3 to 5 "Business Days" (Excluding weekends & public holidays). During promotions and special sale events delivery times and schedules may be varied due to the influx of customer orders. During such promotions and promotional events, processing and delivery of goods shall be 7 to 12 "Business Days" from date of confirmation of order but may be delivered before such time.

Deliveries may be delayed due to force majeure, logistical, promotional and other considerations.
Delivery is subject to a confirmed proof of payment of an order, and Beaded Creations (Pty) Ltd shall not be liable for any costs, charges or expenses arising from external factors beyond Beaded Creations (Pty) Ltd control including but not limited to transporters, deliverers, political conflicts, acts of God, force majeure, theft, hijacking or unforeseen road accidents of third party delivery vehicles, resulting in the loss or damage to parcels or late deliveries. Risk on delivery shall pass to the consumer upon handing the parcel over to our delivery company.
