These Natural, 8mm, Round, Peace Jade, Gemstone Beads, are a beautiful blend of natural green and white.
Although it is called Jade it is actually a mixture of Serpentine and White Quartz.
Beads may contain pink or purple stichtite. Natural colors will vary by stone.
Because of its green hues and mottled appearance, Serpentine is a great alternative to Turquoise. Like turquoise, Serpentine combines well with Amber, sparkling crystals, dyed Mountain Jade and, of course, Turquoise. And because Serpentine can also be confused with Jade, Onyx Marble and Verdite, it works well with, or as a substitute for these gemstones.
A variety of Serpentine called Russian Serpentine, with its black and grey coloring, teams up well with many colors such as the vibrant red of Coral.
Serpentine Gemstone, or "Precious Serpentine," was named in 1564 by Georgius Agricola (Georg Bauer) from the Latin "serpens" for its mottled and scaly appearance like a serpent or snake.
It is also known by many trade names such as False Jade and Teton Jade.

Serpentine is believed to help establish control over one's life. According to metaphysical beliefs, serpentine provides a clearing of thought to better facilitate meditation. The best method of cleaning Serpentine Gemstones and jewelry is to rinse with a mild soap and water (it is not recommended to use steaming, ultrasonic or boiling methods). Wipe with a soft, untreated cloth that is not impregnated with abrasive materials such as rouge. Dry gemstones and settings thoroughly before wearing or storing. Put on your Serpentine jewelry after applying cosmetics and perfumes.

Beaded Creations delivers countrywide in South Africa. Our preferred courier services are "THE COURIER GUY" and "PUDO
We charge a "Flat Rate" of R130.00 for ALL "COURIER GUY" Door To Door parcels, irrelevant of value, weight or location, and R70.00 for ALL "PUDO" Locker To Locker parcels, irrelevant of value, weight or location.
We do not offer any collection services from our premises for any reason whatsoever as this poses a serious security risk to our stock, staff and premises.
While Beaded Creations endeavors at all times to adhere to delivery times and schedules please allow 2 to 3 "Business Days" for your order to be processed. Parcels will then be shipped out, and depending on your location, delivery will take anywhere between another 3 to 5 "Business Days" (Excluding weekends & public holidays). During promotions and special sale events delivery times and schedules may be varied due to the influx of customer orders. During such promotions and promotional events, processing and delivery of goods shall be 7 to 12 "Business Days" from date of confirmation of order but may be delivered before such time.
