Alluring Smoky Quartz (also known as Smoky Topaz), named for its smoky color, is formed when rock crystal is naturally irradiated. (Its frequent inclusions of rutile needles, by the way, do not affect its quality.) Smoky Quartz ranges in color from light grayish-brown to deep black. It is most typically transparent to translucent but can be opaque.
Smoky Quartz is prized for its perceived ability to ward off stress while promoting tolerance and resolve in difficult situations. It is thought to be a protective stone, with a strong association with the earth and base chakras, making it ideal for environmental consciousness. Smoky Quartzz is also believed to counter fear, bring about emotional stability while facilitating positive, practical thinking with clear insights.
Smoky Quartz is fairly hard so it can be cleaned with an ultrasonic cleaner. Avoid heat with most forms of colorful quartzes to prevent hue shift. Store Smoky ;Quartz out of direct sunlight to preserve its color.
These beads are so versatile, you can use them in a variety of ways. Mix them with gold or silver beads (or both). Add a dash of red. Be inventive in your combinations. Dark colors are still its basic colors. You can't pick a more practical and beautiful gemstone for your new jewelry creations than the lovely, evocative dark crystal-smoky quartz.

We offer delivery to ALL SOUTH AFRICAN consumers in ANY area for orders to ANY value. Your shipping costs will automatically be calculated at the check out process on your order.

We charge a "Flat Rate" of R130.00 for ALL "COURIER GUY" Door To Door parcels, irrelevant of value, weight or location, and R70.00 for ALL "PUDO" Locker To Locker parcels, irrelevant of value, weight or location.
We do not offer any collection services from our premises for any reason whatsoever as this poses a serious security risk to our stock, staff and premises.
While Beaded Creations endeavors at all times to adhere to delivery times and schedules please allow 2 to 3 "Business Days" for your order to be processed. Parcels will then be shipped out, and depending on your location, delivery will take anywhere between another 3 to 5 "Business Days" (Excluding weekends & public holidays). During promotions and special sale events delivery times and schedules may be varied due to the influx of customer orders. During such promotions and promotional events, processing and delivery of goods shall be 7 to 12 "Business Days" from date of confirmation of order but may be delivered before such time.

Delivery is subject to a confirmed proof of payment of an order, and Beaded Creations (Pty) Ltd shall not be liable for any costs, charges or expenses arising from external factors beyond Beaded Creations (Pty) Ltd control including but not limited to transporters, deliverers, political conflicts, acts of God, force majeure, theft, hijacking or unforeseen road accidents of third party delivery vehicles, resulting in the loss or damage to parcels or late deliveries. Risk on delivery shall pass to the consumer upon handing the parcel over to our delivery company.
